Cocobolo Rosewood (2 pcs) - both 1 x 5-3/4 x 23-1/4

You are viewing TWO rare pieces of Cocobolo Rosewood (Dalbergia retusa).  Both measuring a solid 1" x 5-3/4" x 23-1/4".  Kiln-dried (to about 6 to 8%).  Ends were sealed long ago, and they have been in dry storage literally for decades and are just two of a number of pieces that we are finally willing to put on the market!  They have been lightly surfaced to get a better look at their color and grain, which are gorgeous!  Photos are of both sides of the actual pieces you will receive.  You will not find cocobolo like this just about anywhere else, so grab these pieces while you can!  Great pieces for a large variety of projects.

Luthiers:  These pieces will work well if re-sawn to make bookmatched sets for the backs of guitars.  We have a number of other much longer boards (measuring roughly 5" to 6"W), which have also been listed, that can be re-sawn to make guitar sides.  If purchased in conjunction with the pieces in this listing, you will have stunning back and side sets!
