You are viewing an extremely rare Nicaraguan Cocobolo Rosewood (Dalbergia retusa) cant / log. No pith! The ends have been end-sealed and it has been shrink-wrapped and in storage for decades, so it is nice and dry! You will not find anything like this piece of cocobolo anywhere. Great piece for Luthiers, other instrument makers, furniture makers etc
The overall dimensions are roughly 9-1/4" x 10" x 54"...so approximately 35 bd ft. Very solid piece of Cocobolo!
